I offer Personal Training and Integrative Health Coaching to clients seeking health and balance in their lives. A graduate of William and Mary, I also served in the US Air Force.  I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, and a trained Health Coach through Duke University’s prestigious Duke Integrative Medicine. I’m currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Nutrition and Integrative Health.  My favorite aspect of life is not only maintaining my own health but also providing support to my clients through health coaching, wellness education, exercise programming, and mentorship.  I absolutely delight in helping others reach their fitness goals, and I thoroughly enjoy encouraging people, coaching, educating, observing personal transformation, and positively influencing lives.

Jan Gray

Jan is a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor in Mat, Reformer, Stability Chair, Cadillac, and Barrels, along with Injuries and Special Populations; and is an NASM Certified Personal Trainer. She enjoys working with clients who are discovering for the first time what their bodies can do, and loves that Pilates has a powerful effect for persons of all ages, abilities, and fitness levels. When not teaching Pilates, Jan is at her handweaving studio on the second floor of Riverviews Artspace.

Karen Holland

Karen Holland received her Power Pilates Training in Dallas, TX in 2011. She is certified in all pieces of apparatus as well as Gravity Strength Certified. Karen is passionate about helping individuals gain strength, stamina, and core stability through the Pilates method. As a runner and a mother of two, she has personally experienced the changes in her body from a disciplined practice of Pilates. She has a broad range of experience working with pre- and post natal clients, as well as individuals with injuries.

 Teresa Julian

Teresa Julian has been training clients for over 20 years.  She is a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor with specialized expertise in working with those clients who are injured or in special exercise populations.  She is AFAA and IDEA certified, and is a TRX Level One Trainer.  Teresa is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology at Lynchburg College with the goal of obtaining entry into the Physical Therapy Program there.  Teresa loves Pilates because it is truly her calling in life to be a teacher, helper, and nurturer of healthy movement in all bodies.

 

Kathy Rehak

Kathy Rehak is a White Belt-certified Nia instructor who is excited to introduce this sensory-based fitness form to the Lynchburg community.  Having practiced Nia for three years and seeing how Nia could transform and energize her life holistically, Kathy strives to bring this mixture of martial arts, healing arts and dance arts to benefit others.  “After doing step aerobics, Jazzercise, yoga and Zumba for years, I’ve finally found an exercise program that helps me feel good inside and out.  I truly believe in the Nia philosophy that ‘through movement we find health’.”
